On 15 December 2008, TravelpoolEurope (TPE) sold the hosting and consulting activities of the former Expenture A/S to external investors. TPE is strengthened by the sale, and is now able to focus its resources on the core business of the association – including selling Expenture’s unique travel settlement solution to members as well as to customers outside the association.

”Now we are able to focus on the core business area of TPE, which is to offer relevant and targeted services to our members and to stakeholders outside the association. In many ways, we have become an even stronger partner after the sale of the hosting and consulting activities,” says TPE’s Managing Director, Søren Schødt.

Too far from TPE’s area of business
”We are pleased that we succeeded in finding a buyer of the hosting and consulting activities, which continued in Expenture, when we took over the rights of the travel settlement solution in October of 2008. The activities were too far from TPE’s actual area of business, and our members are better served with our paying for these services,” continues Søren Schødt.

Thus, TPE has chosen to continue being a customer of the now sold company, Exp. Hosting and Consulting A/S, which has handled the hosting and consulting activities of Expenture since 1 October 2008.

”By selling the hosting and consulting activities, our structure has become stronger and more close-knit. You can say that we have taken the best of Expenture and have sold off the parts which it served no purpose keeping,” concludes Søren Schødt.
